FFI is recruiting for a new role in our growing organization, Vice President of Philanthropic Initiatives and Development, a remote position that will dramatically expand our capacity and engagement with philanthropy, both increasing funding, and engaging funders in our change strategy. We are looking for someone who can diversify and expand our donor pipeline with at least 5 years experience in a senior leadership position in philanthropy or fund development, as well as someone with 3+ year experience working in a social change or social justice related field.
Even in organizations who have an intentional focus on equity, the typical approach to hiring and recruitment can bring up many unintentional biases. Watch the video below to learn how FFI leaned into our values to redesign the hiring process and try on new approaches to upend potential bias.
We are bold, mission-focused, creative and committed learners and are willing to use our passion, humor and hope to fuel change.
